To Site List
Nicknamed: "Southfork" on account of it being the size
of a texas ranch.
Description of Site: Monstrous Site, bigger than
Tong!. Track and field. Loads of really rough terrain.
Bogs, collapsed walls, tree filled ravines, heavily
overgrown land and tracks and a really long bog-run.
There's also a derelict quarry up at the top of the
site that we
haven't looked at yet!

Directions:
From M62 Eastbound
Leave M62 at
Junction 23.
As you come off
slip road, immediately move across into right hand
lane.
Go full 360
degrees round roundabout and take A640 New Hey Road to
Outlane. (Signposted Rochdale and Outlane)
Go straight
through Outlane village and continue up hill.
As road plateau’s
at the top of the hill, follow road on and over the
bridge crossing the motorway. Carry on past the Lower
Royal George pub and as you reach the Jack O' Mitre
pub, fork left onto Pole Gate. (you'll need to swing a
bit wide as they've dog-legged the junction to stop
people taking it at speed)
Go up Pole Gate
over the crest of the hill. About 100 yards further
on, take the right fork onto Laund Road. Follow this
along and it will naturally become Bradshaw Lane (be
aware that there are a couple of narrow bits so watch
out for oncoming traffic). At the end, turn left onto
Coal Gate. Then, at the next junction, where the road
turns left and becomes Old Ground, carry straight on
onto Shaw Lane. Take next left trough farm gate into
the farm yard.
From M62 Westbound
Leave M62 at
Junction 24
Keep left on slip
road. At roundabout turn immediately left onto A643
Lindley Moor Road (signposted Rochdale). Follow this
road to next Roundabout.
Go two thirds of
way around roundabout and take A640 New Hey Road to
