Directions:
From M62 Eastbound
Leave M62 at
Junction 23.
As you come off
slip road, immediately move across into right hand
lane.
Go full 360
degrees round roundabout and take A640 New Hey Road to
Outlane. (Signposted Rochdale and Outlane)
Go straight
through Outlane village and continue up hill.
As road plateau’s
at the top of the hill, follow road on and over the
bridge crossing the motorway. Carry on past the Lower
Royal George pub and also the Jack O' Mitre pub.
Aprox 300 yards
further on, turn right onto Hey Lane (signposted
Scammonden Dam 3/4 Mile). Follow this road
for aprox half a mile (When road forks left, carry
straight on down the narrow track straight towards the
motorway, (marked unsuitable for large vehicles), and through the tunnel under the
motorway.
(Between
junctions 22 and 23 on the M62, about
1/3 mile after you've crossed the dam wall section of
the motorway, there's a works
access road directly off the motorway
hard shoulder that comes out literally at the side of the tunnel
entrance but if you use it as a shortcut and get
busted by the law, don't blame me!.)
The farm is the first
right, literally as soon as you clear the tunnel.
From M62 Westbound
Leave M62 at

road to next Roundabout.
