Nicknamed: "The North Sea" on account of it being all up
and down with virtually no flat bits anywhere.
Description of Site: Long Disused Quarry site, very hilly,
steep inclines, a few rocks. Site is accessed from
farmers yard. Hard standing parking available. Last mile
or so is very narrow roads so beware oncoming vehicles
and don't overshoot as turning around will be an issue

From A646
From
A646 Burnley Road, take Red Lees Road about 6 miles
west of Todmorden, left turn if coming from Burnley,
right turn if coming from Halifax. (Signposted
Worsthorne and also “Burnley – Avoiding low bridge” if
coming from Halifax).
Follow
for 2 Miles aprox then turn right onto Salterford
Road. Follow straight to Worsthorne village. Road will
become Ormerod Street naturally, stay on the main road
and don’t turn off.
Past
village road you will eventually come to an effective
T junction.
Turn
left to stay on Todmorden road.
When
you come top a crossroads, turn right onto Halifax
Road (road on the left is Burnley Road and road ahead
is Nelson Road). Follow this road for about 3/4 of a
mile and turn left into Robin House Lane.
This
will become Southfield Road after the switchback left
turn. Aprox 300 Yards further on you will reach Catlow.
Turn Right into Crawshaw Lane and park up in the
farmyard or in the lane just beyond.

From M65
Come off the M65 at J12. Turn
left onto A682 Manchester Road to Nelson.
Turn Right onto A56 Leeds
Road
Turn Right onto Barkerhouse
Road
At end of road turn left onto
Southfield Road.
Turn Left onto Crawshaw Lane
and park up in the farmyard or in the lane just beyond.

Come off the M65 at J12, Go round roundabout onto A682 Colne Road to Brierfield
At
the intersection with B6248 Clitheroe Road (On
Right), turn LEFT into Halifax Road. Keep going
straight on as road becomes Kings Causeway.
At the
end turn RIGHT onto Nelson Road.
When
you come top a crossroads, turn LEFT onto Halifax Road
(road on the right is Burnley Road and road ahead is
